The Cantina Oleificio Sociale di Gradoli is a cooperative of over 300 producer members, founded in 1929 by the community of Gradoli, which recognized the need to create a structure that would enhance the value of local products and pursue a strategy to promote and market them. A succession of awards and diplomas followed, culminating in the “Leone d’Oro dei Mastri Oleari” prize in 1994 for its excellent extra virgin olive oil, and the recognition as “Best Regional Wine Selection” for the production of Aleatico di Gradoli DOC — a testament to the dedication and care with which the Cooperative operates.
