The farmhouse Menichelli is a small Roman estate which is located only 25 minutes from the Colosseum. It was born in 1978 by Paolo Menichelli and two years later implanted one of the first settlements of kiwi Hayward throughout Italy and a little plant of Susino yellow nun thigh that in 2010 will be removed to leave completely space to 5 hectares of green kiwi.
It was taken over in 2018 by his son Marco and still, today is home to the main cultivation of green kiwi, which is joined by smaller settlements of raw materials to create processed products such as fruit nectar and compotes.
The company is committed to producing products exclusively from organic farming, with the aim of maintaining the flavours and authenticity of the past.
The company’s philosophy consists of the cultivation of the land favouring the use of renewable resources and the natural cycle of the seasons without resorting to the use of pesticides and chemicals and, thanks to high-quality standards, ensures maximum transparency towards its consumers.
