The company is located in Veiano, a small medieval village situated in a tuffaceous promontory (volcanic origin), which material is also used to build residential constructions.
It is extended on over 100 hectares of grasslands and woods, has more than 700 sheeps, predominantly of the Sardinian breed.
The produced milk is biologically certified as the transformation process.
The cheese is made from raw milk (meaning the milk is only heated during the cheesemaking process). This results in a cheese with a milder flavor compared to Sardinian pecorino, a soft texture, while retaining all the nutritional qualities of the sheep's milk.
