Kore is a social enterprise founded in Rome in 2021, dedicated to the promotion of employment opportunities for women and men who have survived gender-based violence, sexual exploitation, or labor exploitation.

The organization provides vocational training, socio-medical support, and creates sustainable, ethically crafted products in Italy, prioritizing social and environmental impact.

Indeed Kore is an accredited biological company that has selected suppliers and partner companies, throughout years, with the aim of creating certificated lines focused on the phenomenon of the green strategy.

Its areas of development are:

• The agricultural project which promotes safe work integration in the cultivation, harvesting and processing of agricultural plants, producing seven organic, ethically sourced herbal tea products. The project, which began with the urban redevelopment of disused land in Rome, expands today thanks to the Kore de Alcatraz initiative, focused on protected hospitality and work integration for women fleeing violence. On its 400-hectare site, the agricultural program will grow to include new crops (e.g., medicinal herbs, berries, olive oil) and educational workshops for adults and minors.
• The  intercultural and social tailoring that works to ensure the work integration for women through prototyping and production with high-quality, certified fabrics for professional apparel, beauty and wellness lines, home and gift items, as well as a contract manufacturing workshop.
