Founded in 1950, Caffè Haiti Roma is a historic Roman coffee roastery with 75 years of expertise in producing high-quality coffee blends in beans, ground, and compostable capsules/pods, adhering to artisanal methods worthy of Italy’s finest master roasters.

Starting from the concept of the perfect espresso, we have developed, refined, and perfected a production process through decades of experience and passionate research. In this exclusive system, only meticulous attention to every processing stage enables us to achieve our exceptional quality standards. The result is a “delight in a cup” cherished in Italy and abroad-an espresso that transforms coffee sipping into a unique experience, a mission guiding our roastery since its inception.

Rooted in long-standing tradition and mastery of traditional blends, in the early 2000s, the company pioneered Italy’s first 100% Bio and 100% Fairtrade-certified espresso coffee line, reflecting our commitment to an ethical and sustainable world. As one of Italy’s earliest organic and fair-trade coffee proposals, BioCaffè achieved immediate success:

• Certified by the International Espresso Institute as Italian Quality Espresso.
• Awarded the Gold Medal at International Coffee Tasting Asia 2015 and Milano 2020.

Caffè Haiti Roma is also among Italy’s first roasteries to earn the triple “DQS Integrated Certification”, encompassing ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety).
