Agricola Terra Forte is an organic farm covering about 200 hectares of arable land, pastures, olive groves and woods, managed by Pier Carlo. For over 70 years, the love for the land and nature has always drive the company to carefully embrace organic farming and to respect good agricultural practices to reduce the environmental impact. Thanks to this choice and the desire to obtain measured and quality productions, the Terra Forte farm has managed to recover the fertility of the land, to give well-being to the animals raised on pasture, to maintain and ensure the necessary biodiversity for the environment to maintain balance in each production cycle.
The results, in addition to outlining the company mission, are products that respect human health and the environment. The term "organic farming" indicates a cultivation and breeding method that only allows the use of natural substances, that is, present in nature, excluding the use of chemical synthesis substances (fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides).
Organic farming means developing a production model that avoids the overexploitation of natural resources, in particular the soil, water and air, instead using these resources within a development model that can last over time. The practice of organic farming has been practiced for years with respect for the environment, natural balances and biodiversity. All this is transformed in practice into organic products, short supply chains and eco-sustainable agricultural practices.
The company extends for hundreds of hectares in one of the most beautiful areas of central Italy, crossed for centuries by great peoples who have left their important traces. Blera is part of the Viterbo Tuscia just an hour's drive from Rome.
